As real word AI agents quietly transform our daily routines, the line between technology and intuition is blurring in ways we never expected.
I had the pleasure of exploring the world of AI agents on “Utilizing Tech” alongside Steven Foskett and our guest, Olivier Blanchard from Futurum Group. The conversation centered on how agentic AI is transforming the way we interact with technology, evolving beyond traditional apps to more natural, conversational interfaces.
I shared my experiences from years in AI and HPC, reflecting on the evolution from early voice assistants to today’s increasingly intelligent and specialized agents.
Olivier brought valuable insights into how edge AI and agentic systems are becoming central to devices we use every day, such as smartphones, wearables, vehicles, and even PCs. Additionally, we discussed the growing importance of privacy and security as more processing shifts from the cloud to local devices, enabling faster, more secure, and context-aware experiences.
We highlighted how agentic AI can simplify user interactions, allowing complex tasks to be completed with simple voice commands. We also examined the future of AI in productivity; furthermore, we explored the challenges of voice cloning and the environmental impact of large-scale AI.
Ultimately, I’m optimistic about a future where agentic AI empowers users with seamless, hands-free assistance, tailored to both personal and professional needs.
Listen in and join the conversation.
