Today we can’t imagine AI without accelerators such as GPUs and FPGAs. The name accelerator says it all. They accelerate the processing of data to handle billions of parameters and do so in a reasonable amount of time. Time is an essential part of the process as it can be the difference between success and failure in some markets.
Habana Labs is a company that creates AI processors and accelerates the training of neural networks and inference deployment in production environments. In 2019 was acquired by Intel and operates as an independent company.
In this podcast, we had the opportunity to talk with Eitan Medina, Chief Business Officer, at Habana. Eitan provided us with insights into what makes Habana different and why it is relevant. The Habana solution is an ecosystem consisting of hardware and software.
